The Master of mise-en-scène
In her photos, Sabine Schönberger reaches the human’s inner being. She regards the good, the pristine of the creature – but also their dark sides. The enormous range of individuality asks for a diversity of variation possibilities. Different means of expression therefore ensure individually tailor-made images of particular moods, fantasies, and wishes.
The essence of Sabine Schönberger’s photos goes beyond the purely visual image and tries to embed in the scene basic regularities on a metaphorical level.
Sabine Schönberger regards the “scenery” of her enchanted worlds as biotopes in which dreams can grow. She sees them as places which habour essence for a healthy growth of creativity and imagination.
